Why am I doing this?

This is a question I get asked from time-to-time. And the answer is simple.

I believe in the goodness of the human heart, and the purity and potential of every soul. At least, before we start mucking things up with all the egoic distortions that mark the human condition.

Most of all, I believe in the source of life within each of us, and the value of every human experience, especially those resulting from our creativity and self-expression.

It is this life I value. And the right of every soul to express the individuality of its being, free of interference or oppression by any other.

But this isn't how most people live. They fight to make life work for them, thinking they have to impose their wills on others, and fighting to keep from being forced into things they don't want. And the collective impact of this approach moves our world a little closer to the brink of destruction.

So I try to show that there are ways out of this mess. That human beings can live together without so much struggle and all the suffering it brings. But that means addressing the factors in others and us that make us this way.

That starts with recognizing the value of every person, and respecting all they bring to the table, both good and even that we perceive as bad. Engaging them where we must so they do no harm, but in a way that reflects our highest aspects, and not our lowest.

It starts by finding that source within us, and hearing its whispers within. Following it to know ourselves and what we're all about. And in doing so, addressing everything that keeps us from expressing it in our lives.

This, my friend, is true justice -- justice to the source of life within us.

I call it Spiritual Justice. Justice for the soul. It is this justice to which I have devoted my life.

Are you doing justice to your soul, and what it came into this world to experience? Are you doing justice to the souls of those who cross your path?

If not, when will you start?
